I'm glad the weekend is almost here.  This week has just been long, what little bit of it has passed already.  I guess just being sick is whooping my butt.

I was feeling better, but now I'm just really congested and my nose can't stop running.  I had a child psych test this morning, and I honestly felt like I couldn't concentrate on it because I just felt so tired and worn out.  But I feel like I did well on the test....hopefully I did.

I've been working out the ying-yang.  I worked Monday 1-6 at store #735, Tuesday 9-2:30 at 735 and 3-8 at my store, I'm off today, I work 11-7 at my store tomorrow, and 1-8 at 735 on Friday.  Ugh...I just want to take a break and sleep and do whatever I want, but I need the hours.  There's way too much that I need to save up money for.

I have a discussion on Friday in my child psych class and I am puzzled at how I am to answer to the question.  I am in between.  The question is: "Would you hold mother's accountable for defects that are caused to their unborn children from drugs/alcohol?  Why or why not?  If you would hold them accountable, what would you do?"  I have no idea how I am going to respond.   I think that if you use drugs/alcohol while pregnant, you should be held accountable; but you can be pregnant and drink limited amounts....but then you could do nothing and the baby could still come out with malformations.  So I have no idea what I'm going to write.  I'm just divided between the subject.  Ugh....

Hello, everyone!  I know it has been so long since I've been here.  Things have just been so busy since classes have started back.  My school and work schedule is just busy out the ying-yang.  I'm working close to 30 hours a week and taking three classes.  I have to do a lot of reading in my textbook for Biology because I have a bad teacher; I'm three weeks ahead in my online class; I'm just busy.

I hope that everyone is doing well.  I have been doing well, myself.  Friday night, Kyle and I went to our friend Preston's apartment.  We hung out there until 3 A.M.  Saturday I got up and did some homework/studying then went over to Kyle's.  Preston came over to help Kyle work on his truck and I used the wireless internet to do some online work and download music.  That afternoon we went to the medieval faire that's in town.  That night, my cousin Rob (in the Army) came home and we all had dinner at my grandparent's house.  Kyle ate at his house with his family that was in town.  After we were all done with dinner, we met back up and went back to Preston's house.  We hung out there and got to see a huge party broken up with cops and all.  Very interesting.

Today, I woke up with a really sore throat, congested head and stuffy nose.  I slept in until 12 and then worked on homework the rest of the day.  Now I'm just watching my Sunday night TV shows.  Today was a really nice day out.  I wish I would have felt well enough to go out.  It was fairly warm and windy....nice.  But now it's raining, and low and behold, it'll probably freeze again.  It's been feelilng like summer around here lately.

Classes started today.  I think I'm going to like my child psychology class.  And the good thing is, the teacher seems really cool.  I just hope the same goes for biology....it's too soon to tell.

So, does anyone have any plans for today/tonight?  Right now I'm doing all of my laundry and just relaxing.  I had a very hard time sleeping last night.  I didn't start sleeping until 5 this morning, so needless to say, I slept in until 11.  Anyway.  I'm getting all my laundry done and then I'm giving Katie a call and hooking up with her.  They are still moving some stuff in today.  I told her I'd be more than happy to help her.  So, I'll go over when I'm done getting things in line here.

When Kyle gets off work tonight (at 9...they get off early today and tomorrow), he'll be coming over to Katie and Jason's, also.  We'll just all sit around and hang out and cacth up.  The four of us haven't really hung out since before Jason and Katie got married, and that was almost 7 months ago.    I miss hanging out with Katie.

I spent all my gift cards at Old Navy yesterday.  I got a pair of jeans, a pair of nylon style dress pants, a tan colored cami and brown cardigan to go with the pants, a satin-ish black skirt, a black cardigan (same style as the brown....they were so cute I couldn't resist) to go with the skirt, a long sleeve dress shirt, and a pink polo-style shirt.  I used all my gift cards plus $4.   So, I did very well.

I picked up some photo paper from Target, so I was able to finish up my scrapbook last night.  Well, until there are more pictures to put in it.  LOL.  I just wish I could have gotten some more pictures from Christmas.  I don't have very many.

Well, I need to get a move on.  Have a safe and FUN New Year's!! 

Life isn't all that exciting today.  I haven't done much at all.  I slept in, which I shouldn't have because I woke up with a horrible headache.  When I finally got up, I started working on my scrapbook that I have neglected for a few months now.  I'm still not done updating it, though.  I got it updated through my birthday, but I ran out of photo paper, so I haven't got Christmas put in yet.  I'll pick up some paper tomorrow so I can get it all finished and off of my floor!

Work was pretty much slow tonight.  Corportate called and told us to shut down our system, so that took away a lot of business for the time being.  It was slow enough tonight that I was able to get the floor vacuumed...which it really needed it.

I got an email from my friend Katie today.  I was so happy!!  I honestly couldn't tell you the last time I talked to her.  She is like one of my best friends, and we hardly talk.  Our schedules are so different, and it just makes it hard for us to get together and hang out.  It really bums me out because I love hanging out with Katie.  Anywho.  Her and her husband are moving to a new apartment complex, so I might help them move tomorrow.  We're going to try and hang out for New Year's.  Our first New Year's together was two years ago, when Kyle and I first started dating.    That's when Katie and I became the best of friends!!    I really wish we were able to hang out and talk more, though.  I miss hanging out with her and talking to her.  But maybe that will change now.  Her and Jason will be a little bit closer when they move into the new place. 

This site, www.thefacebook.com, is such an awesome site.  I can't get over how cool it is.  You can reunite with people that you went to school with, and it's all free.  It's totally different thant www.classmates.com.  This site is way better.  I've met back up with people that have been long gone.  It's pretty awesome.  You should check it out!

Not much is in store for tomorrow.  I've got to get my perscription from work and try to get a gift card activated.  My mom had bought a gift card for my dad at the store, and he wen to use it today and it hadn't been activated.  The cashier told him that a lot of the gift cards that were being bought at the grocery stores and stuff were't being activated correctly.  So, I'm going to try and get it activated when I pick up my check tomorrow.  I'm sure they won't give me any problems with it. 

I need to get more photo paper so I can finish up my scrapbook.  I also need to pick up a gift for Katie and Jason.  I wanted to before Christmas, but I just ran out of time.  So, I'll try to pick up something for them tomorrow.  I've also got two bags of things I need to take to Goodwill.  I'm finally getting rid of one of my old prom dresses.  I knew I would never use it again, but you never know sometimes.  But I acutally tried it on, and it was way too big on me now.  So, I figured it was time for it to go.  I'm also getting rid of a dress that I wore in my friend's wedding two years ago.  I'll never use that one again, and even if I do, it'll probably be too big on me, too.

Now, I have room for more clothes, since I cleaned out the closet.  I'm going to Old Navy tomorrow to use my gift certificates that I got.  I've been trying to look at their website to see if I like anything online (because sometimes they have stuff online that's not in the store), but the site has been being a pain today.

Yesterday was mine and Kyle's two year anniversary.  I know some of you may think it's corny for us to celebrate an anniversary when we're not married, but this is the longest relationship for the both of us, and it's really special for us.  I had to work all day yesterday, so I didn't get to talk to Kyle much.  But I called him when I got off at 6:30 and told him to give me about 20-30 minutes to get ready before he picked me up.

I got ready in my cute little black dress.  I have a picture of it, but I am planning on wearing tomorrow to church services, and I'll get a picture of me and Kyle then, so you can get the full effect.  When Kyle arrived I got my stuff and got ready to walk out, and Kyle was bringing up a bouquet of flowers....a big one!!  (See pictures) I was totally surprised!  I wasn't expecting roses.  He said that he put the two yellow ones in there to represent the two years we've been together.  They are SO beautiful!!

We went to Carraba's for dinner.  (We were supposed to be going for my birthday tomorrow, but they don't open until 3, so we're going somewhere else.)  It was there that I got my anniversary/birthday/Christmas present.  Kyle got me a pair of 1/4 ct. diamond earrings, white gold!!!!  I couldn't believe my eyes!  They are BEAUTIFUL!!  And the neat thing about them is that the backs on them screw on, so you have less chance of losing them, and they can stay in all the time.   (Which they will stay in all the time!)  I love them!!  Kyle said that he wanted to go bigger on the carat, but these were what he could afford at the time.  I still get all teary-eyed thinking about it.

After dinner, the night was still young, so we went to the movies.  We finally saw Narnia!!!  It was great!  I really don't remember much about that specific book (The Magician's Nephew is my favorite book of the series), but Kyle said that the movie was pretty much accurate.  I just can't get over how well the movie was done.  And I loved the smallest girl, Lucy.  She was absolutely adorable.

After the movie, it was about 12 AM, so we just took the long route home, just driving and enjoying each other's company.  It was so nice to just have a night by ourselves, no inturruptions from anyone.  It was such a wonderful night!!

I have to work today, and I am totally dreading it.  All day Wednesday and the first party of yesterday was slow.  But yesterday about 1, things started picking up, and we were slammed!  I have this horrible feeling that it'll be like that today....but worse!!  I know the store was busy.  I was trying to get to the restroom, and there were just people everywhere, that it made about a 20 second walk into a 45 second walk.  Joy!

Tomorrow is my birthday!  Happy birthday to me!   I'll be 22!  Woo hoo!!

I hope that everyone is enjoying the holiday season!  I must go for now.  I just wanted to tell everyone about my wonderful night!!!

I don't have much time to update.  I'm seriously about to fall asleep.

Had a 21st bday party for Tina Friday night.  That was loads of fun.  Yesterday we just hung out and went shopping.  Today was our Jones' family Christmas (my mom's family), then Christmas/Dirty Santa with my family and my dad's sisters.

Yes! I'm so stinkin' happy! I am officially done with classes as of 9 A.M. YES!!!!

I feel pretty good about my biology exam. I hope I did good. The test we had last Friday, I ended up not doing so well on it, bringing my class average to a high C+. But I feel good enough about the final, that hopefully it brings me back up to a B. I would be so happy about that! The math exam was pretty easy. I was the first one done. There were a few things that I probably missed, but other than that, I feel confident that I still have that B+. The astronomy test, on the other hand, was pretty tough. The teacher is such a liar. She said it would be very general, hardly any specifics. Yeah right! When we did evaluations, I gave her an F. She is the world's worst teacher!

I'm just so glad it's all over now. Now I can party...and relax!

Ten days until my birthday!! What is everyone getting me?! LOL.

The weather today is chilly. It's supposed to be in the high 60s today. Tomorrow in the high 70s, but with a 60% chance rain. I'm not too happy about that...but at least I won't have to walk in the rain to class! I do have to go to the doctor in the morning, though. I go at 11. There I will get the results of my blood tests and x-ray. Hmm.... I also have to work from 4-8. Yipee.

Oh my goodness. The sunrise was BEAUTIFUL this morning. The sky was all purple and pink, with cloud coverage, and the sun was barely poking through, but you could see the rays. It was gorgeous. I took some pictures while driving, but unfortunatley they didn't turn out good. They're all blurry. I love sunrises and sunsets. They are wonderful. God must be a Gator fan! LOL.

Well, I need to get a move on. I need to finish eating and get ready for work. Have a great day!

Here's my new 'do.  It's a slight shade darker in the back, and the hilights are blonde and mocha.  I like it.  It's shorter than last time.  I just hope I can get it to look the same tomorrow.

My biology test today wasn't so bad.  It took me 30 minutes to do it, and I was the first one done.  I just hope I did good on it.  Our final is on Wednesday at 8.  Yay...   Wednesday will be a long day.  I'll have to get up early to get a shower and all, go to the final, and then I have to work from 11-6:30.  It will be a very long day.

So, what's up in the Mindsay world?  I know it's been forever since I've been here.  I see that there have been some changes, which are nice.  It's nice to see that Mindsay is moving up in the world.

Everyone done with their Christmas shopping?  I'm almost done.  I need to get something else for my mom, Kyle and I need to get something for his uncle, and I need to get Tina something for Christmas and then that'll be it.  I just bought he birthday present tonight...which is the same thing.....she's a Christmas baby. 

I really can't believe that Christmas is just around the corner....and my birthday!!  Wow.  I'll be 22!!!  I feel old.  LOL...just kidding.

Well, I've neglected my room this week due to studying.  It's beckoning me to clean it, so I'm out.  Have a great night everyone!!

Yes, I know. It's been a while. I've been too cooped up doing studying for tests this week and all my finals next week.  It's never-ending!!

I hope everyone is doing well.  Is it cold where any of you are?  It's been raining non-stop today.  It rained all last night, and the forecast calls for more rain tomorrow.   Eventually it'll turn cold.

I'm getting my hair done tomorrow, so I'll have to take a pic and upload it.
